Reebok Enlists Futureverse to Enhance AI-powered Web3 Journey
Reebok, an American fitness brand, has joined forces with web3 startup Futureverse in an exciting collaboration. Futureverse recently revealed in a post on Dec. 7, 2023, that Reebok is delving into the realm of web3 with its new project called “Reebok Impact.” While specific details about the partnership have not been disclosed, Futureverse stated that the venture will launch in 2024 and offer a groundbreaking digital shoe experience that allows consumers to explore artificial intelligence and digital wearables.
The Executive Vice Chairman of Tactical Opportunities at Authentic Brands Group, Daniel W. Dienst, commented to WWD, expressing the joint vision of both companies to redefine the intersection of fashion, technology, and culture through this new product. Dienst believes that this collaboration marks a pivotal moment in Reebok’s brand evolution.
Reebok CEO Todd Krinsky also emphasized the significance of the partnership with Futureverse, stating that it allows the brand to push the boundaries of innovation and engage consumers in the digital evolution of their products, opening up new possibilities.
Although this announcement is the first step in Reebok and Futureverse’s long-term partnership, it is not Reebok’s initial venture into the web3 space. In December 2021, Reebok collaborated with American rapper A$AP NAST to create limited-edition non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on the RFOX marketplace.
The collaboration between Reebok and Futureverse follows the footsteps of other prominent brands, such as Nike and Adidas, who have also joined the metaverse trend. Stay updated by following us on Google News.
