Notcoin skyrockets 16 following its addition to a new trading pair on Binance

Notcoin, the innovative clicker game on Telegram, saw a remarkable 16% increase following the addition of a new trading pair for its native token, NOT, on Binance, the largest crypto exchange in the world.

Currently, the token is showing a 10% rise, trading at $0.018, as reported by CoinMarketCap. With a market cap of $1.84 billion, NOT is one of the top gainers today.

Experiencing a surge of 65% in its 24-hour trading volume, reaching $1.26 billion, NOT is still trading 37% below its all-time high of $0.0289, reached on June 2.

Notcoin’s recent surge coincides with Binance’s announcement of a new trading pair for the NOT token, NOT/BRL, opening up opportunities for Brazilian traders. Trading in this pair began today at 14:00 UTC.

The journey of Notcoin began in early 2024 with a unique social clicker game on Telegram, where players earn in-game Notcoin currency by tapping a virtual golden coin.

The NOT token, central to Notcoin’s ecosystem, aims to be a community-focused cryptocurrency that encourages user engagement in various project activities. Users can explore new web3 products and services, earning NOT tokens along the way. Additionally, participating in games on the Notcoin platform can lead to extra rewards in NOT.

Earnings in NOT tokens are tied to the player’s in-game level, with higher levels unlocking access to more significant reward pools. By staking Notcoin, players can increase their level, with the monthly staking amount determining their rank. The Platinum level, the highest attainable, offers the most substantial rewards in NOT tokens.

In May, Notcoin held its token generation event (TGE), launching the NOT token on prominent exchanges like OKX and Binance. This move quickly propelled Notcoin into the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market cap.

Recently, Notcoin made a significant donation of over 1 billion NOT tokens, valued at $6.8 million, to Telegram and its founder, Pavel Durov. Durov has committed to holding these tokens until they reach a market value of $680 million and plans to utilize the funds to enhance Telegram’s server capacity.

Notcoin’s surge comes at a time when the global cryptocurrency market is showing positive growth, with a market cap of $2.46 trillion. Bitcoin has also seen a minor increase in the last 24 hours, now trading around $67,614.
