New app, gaming token introduced by platform STEPN
FSL, a prominent player in the gaming industry, has unveiled the release of STEPN GO, an application that transforms everyday movements such as walking, jogging, and running into gratifying experiences.
STEPN GO encourages its users to remain physically active by rewarding them with a digital currency known as the Go Game Token (GGT) for their physical activities. Moreover, the app introduces a feature where users can earn another currency called the GMT by engaging in player versus player (PvP) challenges.
Expanding on the triumph of its predecessor, the STEPN app, which was launched in 2021 and swiftly gained popularity in the emerging sector of web3 fitness apps known as “Move and Earn,” STEPN GO aspires to elevate this concept to new heights. The initial app has already attracted a user base of over 5.6 million, along with more than 1 million Sneaker NFTs.

In response to user feedback, STEPN GO incorporates numerous enhancements as suggested by the community. These improvements include the introduction of the “Haus System,” which allows users to lend their Sneaker NFTs to friends and family members, enabling them to also benefit from the earnings.
Another notable addition is the ‘Interactive Map,’ which enhances user interaction by encouraging connections between players, facilitating the addition of friends and the exchange of messages during app activities.
The Alpha Version of STEPN GO is set to make its debut in the third quarter of 2024. During this launch period, there will be a Sneaker NFT Alpha Prize Draw, where 3,000 digital sneakers will be distributed to individuals who pledge their GMT tokens. Only FSL ID holders are eligible to participate in this event.
“By introducing STEPN GO, we are providing newcomers with access to the web3 space without the obstacles of wallet setups or initial NFT purchases, thus making the pursuit of fitness enjoyable and rewarding,” stated Jerry Huang, one of the Co-Founders of FSL, emphasizing the user-friendly nature of STEPN GO.
