The deBridge protocol has introduced a point system to empower its community by acknowledging contributions made throughout its ecosystem. After almost three years since its inception, deBridge has experienced exponential growth in various aspects, including volumes, transactions, users, partners, and supported chains. In a recent blog post, the company stated, “Every individual who has utilized a deBridge product has played a part in our mission and deserves recognition for our collective achievements.”
The point system has been designed to reward both early supporters and active contributors, while discouraging exploitative behavior. Points are earned by utilizing the deBridge protocol, whether through its app or integrations, and all fees collected contribute to the treasury. This approach not only supports the deBridge DAO but also motivates genuine usage of the platform, deterring abuse from automated networks by implementing fee-based gating.
In addition to using the deBridge protocol, points can be earned through various activities, such as making bridge transfers. Loyalty multipliers are incorporated to further reward early and consistent supporters. The system allows for the accumulation of multiple multipliers under specific conditions, providing additional benefits for particular user categories, such as Solflare Wallet users and Curve LPs.
The deBridge initiative goes beyond rewarding users and extends to referrals and integrations, encouraging the expansion of its ecosystem through collaborative efforts.
