Crypto Debit Cards Offered by Ready to Fight Supported by Oleksandr Usyk and TON Foundation
Ready to Fight, a web3 boxing app that operates on the Ethereum and BNB Chain blockchains, has partnered with the TON Foundation and blockchain developer Kauri One to introduce a crypto-enabled debit card on the Telegram messenger. The goal of this collaboration is to expand the use cases for the RTF token. According to a press release, RTF token holders will now be able to use their tokens globally at merchants that accept Mastercard via Apple Pay. Additionally, users will have the ability to buy, hold, exchange, and sell nine other tokens, including Bitcoin, Tether, and Ethereum, within the app’s wallet and convert them into RTF tokens.
Ready to Fight CEO Sergey Lapin expressed the belief that blockchain technology has opened up significant opportunities for the sports industry, particularly for boxing. He emphasized that while there is a high demand for Ready to Fight, achieving mass adoption requires ensuring ease-of-use and a wide range of use cases.
Ready to Fight was launched in late 2023 and already has a user base of over 150,000, including 15,000 boxers. The app has gained support from boxing champions like Amir Khan, Mike Tyson, and Michael Buffer. Its purpose is to act as an intermediary between athletes and the specialists and services that assist them in their development and earning potential. The platform utilizes its native token, RTF, for all financial transactions on the platform, including donations and payments for products and services.
The introduction of blockchain technology is seen as a game-changer for the boxing industry, offering numerous advantages and opportunities for growth.
