Chromia introduces new testnet with 250000 CHR reward pool for users
Chromia, a cutting-edge Layer-1 blockchain platform, has introduced an incentivized testnet program with a reward pool of 250,000 CHR tokens.
Participants, including users and developers, will explore the capabilities of Chromia in various sectors such as gaming, real-world assets (RWAs), digital collectibles, and sports.
Testers on Chromia’s testnet will have the opportunity to engage with decentralized applications (dApps) and the official Chromia wallet, earning CHR tokens in preparation for the platform’s mainnet launch.
The testing program comprises three distinct initiatives, each operating on Chromia’s mainnet candidate release.
Alex Mizrahi, co-founder of Chromia, expressed that this testing phase is an excellent chance to demonstrate the strength and reliability of their technology while involving the community in shaping the future of the Chromia ecosystem.
The first two initiatives on Chromia’s testnet are HackNet and ProjectNet, along with QuestNet.
HackNet caters to coders and technically-minded individuals who will evaluate Chromia’s core software and provide feedback on various scenarios. This program will run for two weeks, offering 100,000 CHR in rewards.
ProjectNet is aimed at developers creating dApps on Chromia using Rell. Developers can submit their applications until July 26, 2024, with a reward pool of 50,000 CHR distributed among the top 3 projects.
QuestNet, launching on June 18, is designed to engage everyday users by providing a user-friendly dashboard for interacting with dApps and network features like the Chromia Vault. The prize pool for QuestNet is 100,000 CHR.
