Chromia introduces new incentivized testnet featuring 250k CHR reward pool
Chromia, a cutting-edge Layer-1 blockchain platform based on relational technology, has introduced a lucrative testnet program with a reward pool of 250,000 CHR tokens.
During this testnet, users and developers will put Chromia through its paces in various sectors, including gaming, real-world assets (RWAs), digital collectibles, and sports. Participants can engage with decentralized applications (dApps) and the official Chromia wallet, earning CHR tokens in preparation for the platform’s upcoming mainnet launch.
The testing program consists of three distinct initiatives, each running on its dedicated network within Chromia’s mainnet candidate release. This presents an opportunity for the community to test the platform’s robustness and reliability before the mainnet launch, shaping the future of the Chromia ecosystem.
Chromia’s initiatives include HackNet, ProjectNet, and QuestNet. HackNet is tailored for coders and tech-savvy users to evaluate the core software and provide feedback on edge cases, offering rewards totaling 100,000 CHR over two weeks. ProjectNet invites developers working with Rell to submit dApps until July 26, 2024, with a prize pool of 50,000 CHR shared among the top three projects.
QuestNet, commencing on June 18, focuses on engaging everyday users by providing a user-friendly dashboard for seamless interaction with dApps and network features like the Chromia Vault. This initiative boasts a prize pool of 100,000 CHR, encouraging active participation from the community.
