Bitwise predicts Bitcoin to reach $80,000 by 2024.
Bitwise Asset Management has made some bold predictions for 2024, including a new all-time high for Bitcoin and the success of a spot Bitcoin ETF. Ryan Rasmussen, a senior crypto research analyst at Bitwise, believes that Bitcoin will reach new heights thanks to the introduction of a spot Bitcoin ETF and the halving of new Bitcoin supply. The forecast also suggests that spot Bitcoin ETFs will become the most successful ETF launch in history, securing 1% of the US ETF market. In addition, Bitwise predicts that Coinbase’s revenue will double, exceeding Wall Street projections. The company also expects stablecoins to surpass Visa in terms of financial transactions. These predictions align with Bitwise’s Chief Investment Officer, Matt Hougan, who believes that short-term volatility will follow this year’s surge, leading to new all-time highs for Bitcoin in the next 6-12 months. Hougan also declares the end of the crypto bear market and the start of a crypto spring.
