Helium Surpasses Bonk as Leading Gainer, According to CoinMarketCap
After recording a 26% increase, Bonk has now fallen to the second highest gainer position, following Helium, according to a report from CoinMarketCap on January 9th.

In the latest update, Helium (HNT) has taken the top spot in the gainer report. This decentralized blockchain network, designed for Internet of Things (IoT) devices, has experienced a surge of 27.1% in the past 24 hours, with a trading volume of $41 million.
Launched in July 2019, the Helium mainnet enables low-powered wireless devices to communicate and transmit data seamlessly across its network of nodes. The growth of Helium coincides with the increasing interest in Solana, which has resulted in a 71% increase in the price of the related memecoin, Dogwifhat, on the same day.
Following closely behind is Bonk (BONK), which currently holds the second-highest gainer position on the charts with a 25.7% increase. Bonk has seen a significant rise of 160% in its daily trading volume, reaching an impressive $326 million. Notably, 36.2% of BONK’s trading volume comes from Binance, particularly with the USDT trading pair. Technical analysis suggests that the price of BONK may surge again, potentially reclaiming its position as a top gainer.
In third place is Bitcoin SV (BSV), which has seen a notable 19.2% increase in the last 24 hours, bringing its price to $91.34. The cryptocurrency market is on the brink of significant changes, with anticipation building around two key factors.
Firstly, the decision by the SEC to introduce a Bitcoin Spot ETF, which will be announced tomorrow, is generating significant attention in the market. Furthermore, the upcoming Bitcoin halving event, scheduled for late April 2024, adds to the overall excitement in the cryptocurrency landscape. Analysts have noted that not everything is positive, and the market remains volatile as the world awaits a decision on the spot Bitcoin ETF.
