Alleged DJT creators revealed Martin Shkreli and Barron Trump uncovered

On-chain investigator ZachXBT has revealed Martin Shkreli, famously known as “Pharma Bro,” as the mastermind behind TrumpCoin (DJT), a new Solana-based meme cryptocurrency. This revelation follows Arkham Intelligence’s announcement of a $150,000 reward to identify DJT’s deployer on June 19. Shortly after, ZachXBT disclosed that Shkreli identified himself as the coin’s creator during a frantic message exchange.

Despite serving a nearly seven-year prison sentence and facing a $70 million fine for securities fraud, Shkreli insists that Barron Trump, the 18-year-old son of former U.S. President Donald Trump, is also linked to the project. Shkreli emphasized, “I did not act alone,” adding that the contract keys for the token are held by “Trump,” referring to Barron. Screenshots shared by ZachXBT purportedly show Shkreli with over “1,000 pieces of evidence” supporting Barron Trump’s involvement in DJT’s deployment.

Moreover, Shkreli claimed in an online forum that Donald Trump himself endorsed the initiative during an X Spaces event on June 18. He alleged that a team of 10 individuals participated in launching TrumpCoin and hinted at discussions about listing the cryptocurrency on Kraken exchange.

Despite the controversy surrounding DJT, the meme coin saw a 29% surge in the last 24 hours and is currently trading at $0.015. Its market capitalization stands at $165 million with a daily trading volume of $9 million at the time of this report, as per data from birdeye.so.

However, investors remain cautious due to TrumpCoin’s significant drop from its peak of $0.038 on June 18. There have been no official statements from Donald Trump regarding the launch of a dedicated meme coin.
