Alchemy Pays services expanding to include support for Scroll Network
Alchemy Pay is set to collaborate with Scroll, a Layer-2 scaling solution for Ethereum. This partnership will harness zero-knowledge technology and compatibility with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), allowing users to obtain and use USDT and USDC on Scroll through Alchemy Pay.
The main objective of this integration is to connect with clients worldwide and tackle the challenges faced in decentralized finance (DeFi). Through this collaboration, users will be able to purchase these assets using over 50 fiat currencies and multiple payment options available in 173 countries.
Scroll, a Layer-2 blockchain developed by Ethereum experts, is known for its scalability, security, and open-source nature, embodying Ethereum’s fundamental principles of participation, decentralization, censorship resistance, auditability, and credible neutrality.
By incorporating USDT and USDC into the Scroll ecosystem via Alchemy Pay, the partnership aims to promote the use of these assets among users and developers. This move is expected to enhance the Scroll ecosystem and attract a larger global user base.
Scroll has introduced its zkEVM bridge, which is EVM-compatible at the bytecode level, closely mirroring Ethereum. This feature allows developers to migrate Ethereum projects to Scroll without the need for any modifications to the code.
Alchemy Pay, which holds compliance licenses in various jurisdictions including the United States, Canada, Indonesia, and Lithuania, operates in 173 countries and accepts mainstream payment methods like Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. With 300 payment channels, Alchemy Pay helps users avoid high transaction fees.
