Alchemy Pay to broaden support for Scroll Network

Alchemy Pay is set to collaborate with Scroll, a Layer-2 scaling solution for Ethereum. This partnership will harness zero-knowledge technology and compatibility with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), allowing users to purchase and utilize USDT and USDC on Scroll through Alchemy Pay.

The main objective of this collaboration is to connect with a global clientele and tackle the obstacles in decentralized finance (DeFi). Through this initiative, users will be able to buy these assets using over 50 fiat currencies and various payment methods across 173 countries.

Scroll, a Layer-2 blockchain crafted by Ethereum developers, embodies Ethereum’s fundamental principles of participation, decentralization, censorship resistance, auditability, and credible neutrality. By integrating USDT and USDC into the Scroll ecosystem via Alchemy Pay, the partnership aims to promote the use of these assets among users and developers, enriching the Scroll ecosystem and attracting a wider global audience.

Scroll has meticulously designed its zkEVM bridge to be bytecode-level EVM-compatible, closely resembling Ethereum. This feature allows developers to migrate Ethereum projects to Scroll seamlessly without the need for any modifications to the existing code.

Alchemy Pay, with compliance licenses in multiple jurisdictions including the United States, Canada, Indonesia, and Lithuania, operates in 173 countries and accepts popular payment methods such as Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. With 300 payment channels, Alchemy Pay helps users avoid excessive transaction fees.

The integration with Scroll marks a significant milestone for Alchemy Pay, facilitating smooth fiat-to-crypto payment solutions. By providing access to USDT and USDC, Alchemy Pay aims to boost the adoption of these renowned cryptocurrencies, anticipating a broader global reach and an increase in clientele for both Alchemy Pay and Scroll.
