Alchemy Pay is broadening its services to include support for Scroll Network
Alchemy Pay is set to collaborate with Scroll, a Layer-2 scaling solution for Ethereum, in an effort to enhance the accessibility of USDT and USDC for users. This partnership will utilize zero-knowledge technology and compatibility with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), allowing users to purchase and utilize USDT and USDC through Alchemy Pay on the Scroll platform.
The main objective of this collaboration is to cater to a global client base and tackle the challenges faced in decentralized finance (DeFi). Through this integration, users will have the ability to acquire these assets using over 50 fiat currencies and a variety of payment options across 173 countries.
Scroll, a Layer-2 blockchain designed by Ethereum developers, embodies Ethereum’s principles of participation, decentralization, censorship resistance, auditability, and credible neutrality. By incorporating USDT and USDC into the Scroll ecosystem via Alchemy Pay, the partnership aims to promote the use of these assets among users and developers, ultimately enriching the Scroll ecosystem and attracting a larger user base worldwide.
Scroll’s primary objective is to offer a scalable solution while upholding Ethereum’s renowned security and decentralization features. The zkEVM bridge developed by Scroll is EVM-compatible at the bytecode level, closely mirroring Ethereum, enabling developers to seamlessly migrate Ethereum projects to Scroll without the need for code modifications.
Alchemy Pay, which holds compliance licenses in multiple jurisdictions including the United States, Canada, Indonesia, and Lithuania, operates in 173 countries and accepts popular payment methods like Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. With 300 payment channels, Alchemy Pay helps users avoid exorbitant transaction fees.
