Aave community considers fresh proposition to boost liquidity for GHO stablecoin.

After receiving approval from the Aave community, a proposal has been put forth that details the requirement for each chosen network, as determined by Aave DAO, to serve as a host for a “canonical version of GHO.” This hosting responsibility will be accompanied by the appointment of a facilitator, an entity that will be in charge of the creation and elimination of GHO tokens under the supervision of Aave Governance. These facilitators will oversee facilitator buckets and oversee the process of integrating GHO liquidity from the Ethereum network. The overall amount of liquidity across different networks will be limited by the quantity of GHO tokens that are locked on the Ethereum network. However, the proposal does not specify a specific timeline for the implementation of these measures.
