The potential of decentralized ledgers in making AI innovation safer and more widespread is being recognized by tech leaders worldwide. In a recent blog post titled “Big Ideas in Tech for 2024,” Professor Andrew Hall from Stanford Graduate School of Business highlighted the dominance of a few tech giants in the AI development space and emphasized the need for decentralized governance models. He believes that blockchain networks can serve as a counterbalance to centralized AI and create global, permissionless markets where anyone can contribute. However, there are still unresolved questions about decentralizing generative AI to avoid concentration of power. Despite this, Hall believes that blockchain can eventually reduce the costs of using AI and make it more accessible to customers. In April 2023, Binance integrated an AI-powered learning tool called Sensei into its Binance Academy platform to enhance users’ web3 learning experience. This move is aimed at fostering engagement and providing a more intuitive learning experience.
